When is open enrollment?
- We have rolling enrollment throughout the year for new families who would like to join out schools or get on the waitlist. Families who already attend one of our schools will re-enroll in January/February for the following year (which runs September - August). See the Registration page for more details.
- We require a registration application and $50 waitlist fee to be added to the waitlist. See the Registration page for more details.
- There is not a guarantee that siblings will get a spot in the school just because one child is enrolled. Siblings do move to the top of the waitlist, however, if a class is full.
- Yes, we offer a 10% discount for one child's tuition.
- Yes, we do accept ERDC.
What do you do when there is inclement weather or other issues like poor air quality due to wildfires?
- Our schools have pre-determined plans for how to react to inclement weather and other environmental factors like poor air quality. You can find details about those policies and practices in our Parent Handbook.
- We work closely with our state and local public health agencies any time there is a signficiant communicable disease outbreak. For reportable diseases (i.e., whooping cough, measles, etc.) we will notify the families who attend the respective school. For more commonplace illnesses (i.e., the flu, colds) we do not notify families.
What is your child-to-teacher ratio in each class?
- Please see the class descriptions on each school specific page for details on our child-to-teacher ratio.
Can I get a contact list of other parents in my child's class?
- Not all families have opted to have their information shared. If you'd like to get a hold of a parent in your child's class to arrange a playdate, send a birthday invite, etc., please reach out to Ms. Anna with the information you'd like shared she can send it to the family.
What vaccines are required, and are there exemptions?
- You can find the requirements for Oregon on the School and Child Care Immunization page on the OHA website. That page also includes information about vaccine exemptions.
- Additionally, you can find vaccination rates for Deschutes County here. A Child's Garden Midtown rates can be found here, and Westside Preschool rates can be found here.
