A Waldorf inspired program for toddlers, ( children
who can walk alone to 2.5 years ) with your choice
of between 2 to 5 days a week, part time or full
time.
The program is 4 hours, from 9 - 1 pm. this includes a healthy snack we provide and a lunch which the parents provide.
It is designed to honor the needs of the young child to find security in the loving healthy home like environment with a curriculum focusing on the domestic arts, such as cleaning, gardening, self-care through dressing and potting and care for others through nurturing themselves, each other and the Earth.
We provide the toddlers with the consistency and routine they crave through a day filled with a balance of activities and rest, which include music, movement, art, story telling, puppetry, baking and time out of doors.
Learning takes place through imitation and example rather than through instruction and we recognize the importance of play for healthy development and the natural expression of the young child’s imagination. In the course of their play their growth in all areas is stimulated - physically, emotionally, socially, mentally and spiritually.
