A Child's Garden and Westside Preschool are sister preschools located in Bend, Oregon. We are play-based, Waldorf-inspired, year-round programs that offer childcare for ages 12 months to 6 years old.

In our environment, the three R’s (Reverence, Repetition, and Rhythm) play an important role. We promote reverence towards nature, our toys, and classroom space as well as in our relationships with classmates and teachers. As young children learn and grow through doing and imitation, we work a lot with repetition, so the children can feel confident in knowing what is expected of them. The foundation of a secure and calm program is the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly rhythm. The young child knows and feels what is coming next, and gentle, regular transitions benefit us all.
